Why it matters
A year-round platform creates lasting public benefit, builds trust and gives communities ways to participate before, during and beyond a proposed public parade.
Events & Programmes
Dominican Parade UK CIC is developing a broader programme of cultural workshops, community engagement, youth and education activity, volunteer development, partnership events and responsible Parade 2027 planning.
Long-term platform
A year-round platform creates lasting public benefit, builds trust and gives communities ways to participate before, during and beyond a proposed public parade.
Young people, families, volunteers, schools, cultural organisations, local residents, businesses and wider audiences interested in Dominican heritage and community life.
Register interest, volunteer skills, partner on workshops, support a programme, offer a venue or help fund responsible delivery.
Support can fund structured, measurable cultural and educational activity rather than one-off visibility without long-term community value.
Year-round delivery
Activities will be developed carefully with community input, available funding, safeguarding, suitable partners and realistic delivery capacity.
Future workshops exploring Dominican music, dance, food, storytelling, history and creative heritage.
Meetings, outreach and local conversations that help shape relevant year-round activity.
Developing school, college, university and youth-organisation pathways with appropriate safeguarding.
Structured routes for people to contribute skills, build confidence and support community delivery.
Collaborative activity with community groups, institutions, cultural organisations and responsible supporters.
Responsible development of the proposed first Dominican Parade in UK history, subject to approvals.
