Why it matters
Without sustained infrastructure, valuable cultural knowledge, community energy and opportunities for future generations can remain fragmented or underrepresented.
Our Vision
The first Dominican Parade in UK history is an important ambition, but it is not the end point. Our long-term vision is a resilient national organisation supporting culture, education, heritage, youth development and community connection across the United Kingdom.

Without sustained infrastructure, valuable cultural knowledge, community energy and opportunities for future generations can remain fragmented or underrepresented.
Dominican communities, wider UK audiences, artists, educators, young leaders, researchers, cultural institutions and future international collaborators.
Join the network, contribute expertise, commission or host activity, support heritage work, co-design youth opportunities or invest in long-term capacity.
Early support can build durable cultural infrastructure: governance, partnerships, programme models, evidence, skills and relationships that continue beyond 2027.
Year-round delivery
We aim to create programmes, relationships and knowledge that can grow over time. Progress will be phased, evidence-led and shaped by governance, funding, community need and strong delivery partnerships.
Regular public celebrations presenting Dominican music, dance, food, creativity and heritage with care and ambition.
Learning resources, workshops and institutional partnerships supporting deeper cultural understanding.
Accessible gatherings that connect families, neighbourhoods, generations and partner communities throughout the year.
Leadership, creative participation, mentoring, volunteering and ambassador opportunities for young people.
Projects that document, interpret and share Dominican stories, traditions and contribution to UK cultural life.
A trusted organisation connecting communities, institutions, artists, educators, businesses and public bodies.
Future opportunities for responsible cultural dialogue and exchange between the UK, Dominican Republic and diaspora.
