Why it matters
Cultural learning can strengthen identity, curiosity and belonging while giving institutions practical ways to engage with the communities they serve.
Working With Communities
We want schools, colleges, universities, youth groups, volunteers and community organisations to help shape relevant, inclusive and culturally grounded activity across the United Kingdom.

Cultural learning can strengthen identity, curiosity and belonging while giving institutions practical ways to engage with the communities they serve.
Pupils, students, educators, youth groups, volunteers, families and community partners seeking relevant learning and participation opportunities.
Co-design a workshop, host activity, offer placements, refer young people, provide volunteer pathways or explore a research and knowledge-exchange collaboration.
Support enables accessible delivery, safeguarding, facilitator capacity, learning resources, participant support and evaluation rather than one-off activity without follow-through.
Year-round delivery
Our approach is partnership-led. Activities will be developed according to community need, educational relevance, safeguarding requirements, available resources and the experience of participating organisations.
Age-appropriate cultural learning, creative workshops and opportunities to explore identity, heritage and community.
Project-based learning, volunteering, creative participation and routes into community event experience.
Research, placements, student volunteering, cultural programming and knowledge exchange opportunities.
Supported roles across outreach, administration, communications, programme delivery and future events.
Participatory sessions around Dominican history, music, dance, storytelling, costume, food and creative expression.
Resources and programmes that deepen understanding of Dominican heritage and its place within modern Britain.
A developing initiative for young people to contribute ideas, represent their peers and build leadership skills.
